- An American trained detective, Sam Wanti, has announced his presidential intention on the platform of Labour Party

The US-based detective from Imo state said he would reduce the capacity of corruption if elected in 2019 - According to him, he has the support of President Donald Trump Sam Wanti who is an American trained detective formally attached to the Federal Bureau of Investigations FBI/K9B, has declared his ambition to run for presidency in 2019. Independent reports that Wanti who is from Imo state claimed that as one of the officially recognised 364 criminalists in the world, he had the capacity to tackle the problem of corruption.

FA asks Wenger to explain comments

The Football Association on Thursday asked Arsene Wenger to clarify remarks about penalties given against his side made before and after Arsenal's Premier League game with Chelsea. Wenger complained about two spot-kick decisions given against the Gunners, the first awarded to West Brom on Sunday and the second given to Chelsea on Wednesday. Both matches ended as draws and Wenger now has until 1800 GMT on Tuesday to respond.
