Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has taken a decisive step by instructing the Commissioner of Police, Kene Onwuemelie, to ensure that police officers responsible for the killing of a businessman named Emmanuel Okocha face prosecution.
The incident occurred when Okocha was shot and killed by a police operative in Abia State for reportedly refusing to give a bribe to a team of police officers.
Reacting to the situation, Mr. Otti shared a message of reassurance, emphasizing the state government's dedication to safeguarding the well-being and belongings of all citizens and residents. He encouraged everyone to carry on with their normal activities without any worry or obstacles.
