The Registrar of the Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB) Prof. Ishaq Oloyede says jamb has reduced the cost of JAMB form for foreign students willing to study in Nigeria from two hundred dollars to twenty dollars.
Professor Oloyede made this known while hosting journalists at his residence in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Sharing the experience he encountered in his first year as the registrar of JAMB, prof. Oloyede said several changes were made which was greeted with criticism. However the body was able to generate twelve billion naira.
He also explained that JAMB has reduced the fees for foreign students to encourage more foreign presence in Nigerian institutions.
Oloyede said no fewer than two million candidates are expected to register for the 2017/2018 unified tertiary matriculation examination.
