Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazzau has arrived Benue State in North-Central Nigeria for an assessment of the destruction and killings carried out by armed Fulani herdsmen in two local government areas of the State.
The Minister who is leading a federal government delegation to also commiserate with the government and people of the State has on arrival in Makurdi, the state capital paid homage on the Tor Tiv and Chairman of the Benue State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Majesty, Professor James Ayatse.
The visit is coming barely 24 hours after youths in the State took to the streets to protest against the renewed killings and attacks on farming communities in the State
